This museum competition entry preserved the character of its site by blending its earth covered roof into the existing meadow and blending Ansel's personal concerns for distinguished architecture and preservation of the natural landscape with the necessities of a workable photography center.  The building integrates into the setting with minimal visual intrusion and uses the slope of the land to accommodate multiple floor levels.
